More questions about IONIQ 6? We’ve got answers.

Yes. IONIQ 6 is one of three Hyundai models—including IONIQ 5 and IONIQ 5 N—that are only available with a battery-electric powertrain. You can view our full range of electrified models here.
The 2025 IONIQ 6 starts at an MSRP of $37,750 for the SE Standard Range trim, and goes up to $54,500 for the Limited trim with Dual-Motor AWD (not including freight charges, tax, title, license fees, or any optional or accessory items).
IONIQ 6 is available in Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) and Dual-Motor All Wheel Drive (AWD) models. AWD is optional on SE, SEL and Limited trims, while the SE Standard Range trim is RWD only.
IONIQ 6 does not qualify for a federal clean vehicle tax credit, however it may qualify for state or local tax credits or incentives. To offset not qualifying for the federal clean vehicle tax credit, dealerships have competitively priced the IONIQ 6 versus its competitors. Contact a dealer near you for pricing information, and please check with your state and/or local government to see if a fully electric vehicle (EV) like the IONIQ 6 qualifies for state or local tax credits or incentives in your area. For additional information regarding state and utility incentives see: https://afdc.energy.gov/laws.
IONIQ 6 is currently available at select dealers in all 50 states except Wyoming.
The 2025 IONIQ 6 can reach up to an EPA-estimated 342-mile driving range for 2025 IONIQ 6 SE Long Range RWD; EPA-estimated 316-mile driving range for IONIQ 6 SE Long Range AWD; EPA-estimated 291-mile driving range for IONIQ 6 SEL RWD and IONIQ 6 Limited RWD; EPA-estimated 270-mile driving range for IONIQ 6 SEL AWD and IONIQ 6 Limited AWD; and EPA-estimated 240-mile driving range for IONIQ 6 SE Standard Range RWD. All figures are EPA estimates and based on a fully charged battery. For comparison purposes only. Battery capacity decreases with time and use. Actual range will vary based on a number of factors, including vehicle options, driving conditions and habits, vehicle and battery's condition, battery temperature and outside temperature.

No. Autopilot is a proprietary technology that is only available on Tesla vehicles. However, while IONIQ 6 doesn't offer full autonomy, it does offer a host of semi-autonomous driving technologies as standard equipment.

SE models include technology like Highway Driving Assist (HDA), Lane Following Assist (LFA) and Smart Cruise Control (SCC) with Stop & Go, which all work together to help keep you centered in your lane while driving at the right highway speeds at a safe distance behind the vehicle ahead of you.

SEL and Limited models add Highway Driving Assist II (HDA ll), which enables automatic lane changes when you use your turn signal at 37 mph or higher, and Smart Cruise Control (SCC) with Stop & Go + Machine Learning, which tailors the SCC to mimic your unique driving tendencies for acceleration and distance from the vehicle ahead.

Limited trim models also come with Remote Smart Parking Assist (RSPA), which enables your IONIQ 6 to park itself into and out of a parking spot.

No. While Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ are standard on every trim, you will need to plug your compatible device into a USB port to access these features.
Yes. A Head-up Display is a new addition for the 2025 model year and comes standard on the IONIQ 6 Limited trim.
There are multiple ways to charge IONIQ 6, each with its own advantages and charging speeds. For more, including learning about how different charge settings can help prolong battery life and performance, please watch this video.

For home charging, Hyundai recommends purchasing a Level 2 home charger and having it professionally installed. Level 2 charging lets you charge up to 9 times faster than with a conventional 110-volt outlet, plus it comes with many other benefits. For example, most Level 2 chargers can be programmed to charge your vehicle at specific times of day, such as overnight when electricity rates are lower.
