FOUNTAIN
VALLEYCalif. – October 2, 2007 – Hyundai Motor
America continues its relationship with local Orange County nonprofit organization, Working
Wardrobes, donating over 1,000 articles of clothing and $5,000 to improve the
lives of adults in crisis by helping them get back to work. “This is the
5th year that Hyundai has contributed to the Working Wardrobes
cause,” said Pat Benfield, manager, Community Relations, Hyundai Motor
America. We respect the good work
the organization is doing helping adults regain their lives with positive
support to re-enter the workforce.
Hyundai is assuming a growing role as a philanthropic member of its
national and local communities and supports many worthwhile projects.” The majority of
women’s clothing donated by Hyundai employees in 2007 went to support the
“Women’s Day of Self-Esteem” which provided local Huntington Beach and Orange
County residents with the moral support and job advice needed to succeed in the
workplace.
