Program”. This program will assist Hyundai owners with up to $1,000
toward the cost of installation of new adaptive equipment in a new Hyundai
vehicle purchased by an authorized Hyundai dealership.

Hyundai Mobility Program Assistance for Persons with Special
physical needs Guidelines and Procedures
Eligibility and Guidelines:
- Only new, unused Hyundai vehicles sold or leased and delivered to
a retail customer by an authorized Hyundai Dealership in the U.S.A.
are eligible for reimbursement under this program.
- Fleet sales are not eligible to participate in this program.
- The mobility equipment must be installed within 6 months of the
vehicle purchase or lease.
- The Hyundai Mobility Form and required documentation must be submitted
to Hyundai Motor America within 60 days of complete installation of
adaptive equipment.
- Qualifying adaptive equipment or conversion is defined as any aftermarket
alteration or equipment installation on an eligible Hyundai vehicle
that provides to the user convenient access and/or the ability to
drive the vehicle.
- Labor for Equipment transferred from the old vehicle into the new Hyundai vehicle, is only eligible when the cost of the labor is clearly stated in the invoice from the Adaptive Equipment Company.
- The Invoice must include the Hyundai model and Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).
- Maximum Mobility reimbursement is up to $1,000 for the total of equipment and labor.
- One coupon per customer only.
- Hyundai accessories are NOT eligible for reimbursement.
- Equipment which is not clearly related to a specific medical need,
such as altering devices, swivel seats, pedal extensions and running
boards, will require original medical documentation clearly detailing
the physical disability or permanent impairment for which the equipment
is intended. This documentation must be prepared on a letterhead by
a licensed, certified medical or medical-related professional.
- Hyundai Mobility financial assistance can not be applied towards
the purchase or lease of a new Hyundai vehicle.
- Damage caused by unapproved or improperly installed adaptive equipment,
alert hearing devices and accessories will not be covered under the
Hyundai new car warranty. Owners should refer to the Hyundai Warranty
and Service booklet for additional warranty information.
- Vehicles that are purchased from a source other than an authorized
dealership of Hyundai Motor America will not be eligible for reimbursement.
- Hyundai Motor America assumes NO responsibility for death, injury
or expenses that may result from the installation of adaptive equipment,
alert hearing devices and non-genuine Hyundai Accessories.
Claim Submission Instructions:
Please keep a copy of the mobility program form and all supporting
documents for your files.
Please submit the completed mobility program form along with the copy
of the following documents.
- The signed copy of the Purchase Agreement or Sales Contract.
- The itemized paid invoice(s) from adaptive equipment company. (Adaptive equipment company Invoice must clearly state the customer's full name, the eligible Hyundai vehicle and the Hyundai Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)).
- The Copy of the vehicle registration

Hyundai Motor America reserves the sole right to cancel, amend or revoke
any incentive program in full or in part for any reason at any time without
incurring liability. Hyundai Motor America reserves the sole right to
interpret these rules and shall not be bound by any previous interpretations
made by HMA before and during the program. Effective dates January 3, 2008 through January 2, 2009. |
