HCD10: Hyundai Concept Car

Inspired by a tough hard-shell backpack, the HCD10 is the mischievous and outspoken sibling in the concept car family. Its designers wanted the sheet metal to stretch over the structure to evoke a sense of organic ruggedness. To bolster its tough, rally car-like demeanor, designers made the front and rear overhangs short and added a functional hood scoop and aluminum skid plates. The two-piece have a non-stick finish to resist the buildup of dirt and debris. The aggressive exterior styling sheaths a spacious interior that’s equipped with wireless Internet and innovative seats that include a built-in hydration system and detachable gear packs that can be used outside of the car. The all-wheel drive HCD10 is powered by an eco-friendly common-rail 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine with 236 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque paired with a six-speed automatic transmission.
