If you have previously replaced the exhaust manifold due to a crack, you may be entitled to a reimbursement for this cost. The original service repair receipts with the vehicle’s 17 digit VIN, and the date and mileage at the time of repair will be required for review of your request for reimbursement. Certain 2002 and 2003 model year Elantra, Sonata, Tiburon, and XG 350 vehicles, produced during the period of October 1, 2001 through November 9, 2002, may fail to conform to the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 301, Fuel System Integrity. Approximately 264,000 vehicles are affected.
