The Elantra’s engine offers spirited acceleration, courtesy of dual overhead cams and Continuously Variable Valve Timing, an innovative technology that perfectly times the intake and exhaust valves, which both widens the power band and boosts fuel efficiency at all speeds.

The Hyundai Elantra also offers a choice of transmissions. A precise five-speed manual comes standard or an available four-speed automatic that utilizes intelligent gear ratios for improved fuel economy at freeway speeds.

THE SE: THE ELANTRA LETS ITS HAIR DOWN.

The sporty Hyundai Elantra SE was bred for the open road. Preferably a long twisting one full of switchbacks and S-curves.

Its agile sport-tuned suspension employs modified dampers, beefier stabilizer bars, and stiffer springs to reduce body roll, improve cornering, and increase road feel.
