Hyundai Motor America has launched a safety recall to replace the driver side door latch assembly and lower channel in certain model year 2019 Hyundai Veloster vehicles.

What is the safety recall?
In certain side impact crashes the driver door latch housing and cable can become damaged, allowing the driver’s side door to open.

What will Hyundai do?
Hyundai dealers will replace the driver side door latch assembly and lower channel. This procedure will be performed at NO CHARGE.
